Join us for an unforgettable hike to Oeschinensee!

Spend your Sunday exploring one of Switzerland’s most beautiful alpine lakes! We'll travel together from Zurich to Kandersteg, followed by a gondola ride to Oeschinen mountain station, where we'll begin our hike. Expect breathtaking mountain views, crystal-clear water, fresh alpine air, and great company throughout the day.

Hike details:

• Distance: ~8.5 km
• Elevation gain: ~500 m
• Difficulty: moderate to difficult (T3 mountain trail)
• Duration: ~4–5 hours (including a 1-hour lunch break)

Please note: This hike includes narrow mountain trails and uneven terrain. You must be sure-footed and comfortable with heights. Proper hiking shoes are mandatory; participants without suitable footwear won't be able to join for safety reasons.

Please bring your own lunch, at least 2L of water, and sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat).

If we have enough time after the hike, those who are interested can also try the Oeschinensee mountain coaster (toboggan). (This is completely optional and not included in the price)

Important: The price only includes the train ticket. The gondola ticket and, if we have time, the optional toboggan ride must be purchased separately (more details about this in the telegram group chat).

Please let us know in the comments whether you have a GA or a Half Fare Travelcard (Halbtax).

There are limited spots for people older than 24 years without GA. Hence, the spots are given on first-come-first-serve basis. We will notifiy you in that case.
