Swiss Train Rally

Have you ever felt like doing something but didn't quite know what to do? Have you already crossed all the beautiful places you wanted to visit in Switzerland from your bucket list?

Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. This event will bring you to 3 to 4 different Swiss cities, giving you the chance to discover completely new places and hidden gems all over the country.

But where exactly are we going? That’s the catch: it’s a surprise. In fact, even we won’t know the final destinations until just a few days before the event.

A national ESN event

This is not just a local activity — teams from multiple ESN sections across Switzerland will participate. Throughout the day, you may encounter other groups and take part in challenges together or against each other.

To finish the day properly, ESN has organised a party in the final destination city, where everyone can celebrate together after the rally.

Due to how soon the event is occurring, we will not be able to offer refunds in case of cancellation!

If you have a GA/full fare you can join for free. However, please email us directly after your registration so we can finalise your registration. Otherwise, the system will cancel your reservation after the payment deadline.

Owning a “Halbtax” or “GA Night” does not offer any additional discount.

There is a limited amount of people over 25 years of age that we can take with us, this is why you can register through this post only if you will be younger than 25 on the day of the event. There is a dedicated post for the people that will be 25 and older.

If you do not register for the correct event, your place will not be secured.

Also, note that the meeting time might be a bit flexible, i.e. we won't be meeting all at 7. Similarly, the end time is not yet fixed. Chances are that we will be back in Zürich before 23:55. There will be the option to skip the party and be back in Zürich around 8pm. If you have a GA you can of course also travel back independently.

If you would like to sign up together with your friends, make sure that everyone registers for the same group (see event title). Changing groups can be difficult, so we recommend to coordinate with your friends which group you want to join. Once a group is fully booked, you need to find a person that is younger than 25 in that specific group to swap with you in order to join the group.
