Have you ever wondered what happens at the world’s largest particle physics laboratory? Now’s your chance to find out! Join us for a unique excursion to CERN in Geneva, home of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the most powerful particle accelerator ever built.

Discover where some of the most fascinating experiments in modern science are conducted, and get an exclusive look behind the scenes of cutting-edge research in physics.

What to Expect:

• Departure: We’ll meet bright and early at Zürich HB at 06:20 to begin our journey to Geneva.

• Geneva City Tour: In the morning, we’ll explore the beautiful city of Geneva with a guided walk through its historic center and lakeside views.

• Lunch Break: After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch together (food options will be available nearby or you can bring your own).

• CERN Guided Tour: Our tour begins around 13:00, giving you the chance to learn directly from experts about the research being conducted, the history of CERN, and its groundbreaking technology.

• Return: We'll head back to Zürich in the evening, arriving at Zürich HB by approximately 21:30.

We have limited spots for people over 25 years. Please bear with us if we had to cancel your registration, we will refund you in that case. If you have a GA, the trip is free for you. Just send a seperate e-mail to the organizers within 24h after signing up.

The price includes the train ride and the guided tour. There is no discount for Halbtax or GA Night.

CERN requires date of birth, nationality and place of birth details of the participants three weeks before the event start. For this we will be sharing a form after registrations. If you fail to fill the form until the 25. October 2025, we will remove you from the event.

Cancellations for this trip later than 3 weeks before the trip are not possible. Please only sign up if you are sure that you can come.
