Route & Groups

Circular hike via Märjelensee with two options:

• Group 1: Cable car up to Bettmerhorn → hike down to Bettmeralp
• --> Elevation: UP 185m, DOWN 900m, Difficulty: Medium
• Group 2: Hike up from Bettmeralp to Bettmerhorn → cable car down
• --> Elevation: UP 900m, DOWN 185m, Difficulty: Difficult

Please indicate preference when registering ("cable car up" or "hike up"). You only have to decide on the day of the hike, but we would like to get a understanding of people's preferences.

• Torch/phone light (500m dark tunnel)

Schedule

• 6:40 Meet Zürich HB (under blue angel)
• 7:02 Train to Brig (platform 31)
• 10:30 Start hike at Bettmerhorn/Bettmeralb
• 13:00 Lunch break (all together)
• 17:30 Finish at Bettmeralp
• 21:00 Return to Zürich HB
