As you might know, Switzerland is hosting the Eurovision Song Contest this year in Basel!

This is one of the largest music festivals in the world, with a huge media coverage, where countries from all over Europe (and beyond!) compete with songs representing their nations.

We won't be by the stage, but in the city there are a lot of Eurovision-themed events, and we'll end the day by watching the Grand Final together at one of the public viewing screens. 

Here's a rough plan for the afternoon:

- We'll meet at 16:00 at Zurich HB (underneath the big blue angel)
- We'll be in Basel by 17:30 and we'll visit the city a little bit
- We'll head the Eurovision Village, where you'll have time to enjoy some Eurovision-themed experiences, and we'll watch the Grand Final at 21:00. For the public viewing at the Eurovision Village no bag is allowed into the area (not even a fanny bag).
- We'll come back to Zurich once the final is over (public transportation is extended because of the contest)

If you have a GA/full fare you can join for free. However, please email us directly after your registration so we can finalize your registration. Otherwise, the system will cancel your reservation after the payment deadline.

Owning a “Halbtax” or “GA Night” does not offer any additional discount.

There is a limited amount of people over 25 years of age that we can take with us.
