Hello there!

We have an exciting day trip planned to Luzern and Mount Rigi, including a scenic mountain hike.

A glimpse of what to expect:

• We start our journey at the top of Mount Rigi, where we witness breathtaking panoramic views of many mountains, lakes, and cities like Luzern and Zug.

• We then embark on an easy 1-hour downhill hike to Rigi Kaltbad (there's still some snow, so it's better to wear boots or something waterproof). If you’d prefer not to hike, you can take the cogwheel train instead.

• After a 1-hour break at Rigi Kaltbad, we take a cogwheel train to Vitznau followed by a boat ride across the mystical Lake Luzern to reach the city.

• In Luzern, we’ll have about 5 hours to explore before heading back to Zurich HB by 19:51.

What do we provide (incl in price)?

• Swiss day ticket for travel

• Cogwheel train (Arth Goldau → Rigi Kulm) – 40 min

• Cogwheel train(Rigi Kaltbad → Vitznau) – 10 min

• Boat ride across Lake Lucerne – 40 min

What do we not provide?

• Food is not included — we recommend bringing your own. Supermarkets will be available along the way, but only after 13:47 (we won’t be near Lucerne’s shopping street before that).

There is no discount for Halbtax or GA Night. If you own a GA, the trip is for free for you. Just send us a message after registering, so we can manually confirm your spot.
