Have you always wanted to hike to the the famous blue Oeschinensee, see the cute alpine town Lauterbrunnen and get on top of the highest accessible point of Europe - the Jungfraujoch? Then join us on this 2-day adventure to Interlaken!

• 2 day adventure to Interlaken, a swiss town between the picturesque lakes Thunersee and Brienzersee
• Great people, instagram hotspots and amazing views of the typical Swiss nature
• Jungfraujoch at an altitude of 3454m: Highest point of Europe. Enjoy the view on snowy mountain peaks!
• Small hiking at Oeschinensee in a winter landscape
• Breakfast at the hostel included.

Program in Detail:

Day 1:

• Meet 07:15 at Zurich HB
• Arrive 09:28 in Interlaken
• First go to the Hostel 
• Take the train to Kandersteg and hike at Oeschinensee 
• Hiking Level: low to intermediate (depending on the conditions, there is probably snow)
• Individiual Dinner in Interlaken
• (optional: Night Out in Interlaken)

Day 2:

• Take the train to Lauterbrunnen and walk around the cute town
• Go on top of Jungfraujoch by train
• Spend 1.5 hours at the top (platform, the sphinx, ice palace, exhibition alpine sensation, souvenir shop, lindt shop)
• Take the train back to Interlaken and explore the town (if there is time)
• Take 18:29 train back to Zurich
• Arrive 20:28 in Zurich HB

Accomodation: 
We will be sleeping in the Youth Hostel Interlaken. Bed Linen is included, towels aren't. Shower & Bathrooms may be shared with other rooms. We will not be alone in the hostel, be respectful to other guests.

Food: 
Breakfast at the hostel is included. Organise your own lunch & snacks for the days. On Saturday evening you can eat dinner somewhere in Interlaken. There are also supermarkets in Interlaken. Inform us of Allergies & Vegetarian/Vegan diets as soon as you sign up (via the contact form we will send later in the group chat or per e-mail).

Hiking: 
Saturday will be a 40min hike in snowy terrain to the Oeschinensee and 40min back. The footpath is made, we are not wearing snow shoes. You have to wear winter boots, hiking boots or shoes with spikes for this hike! If you wear sneakers without profile or other non appropriate shoes we will not take you to Oeschinensee.

Refunds: 

• > 10 days before the event: full refund
• 10-5 days before the event: full refund if you can find someone to take your spot
• < 5 days before the event: no refund

Transport, < 25 y/o If you're younger than 25 at the time of the hike, all transport is included! We get significant discounts from SBB for people below the age of 25. 

*Transport, >=25 y/o: If you're older than 25, we can not guarantee you a spot on the discounted group ticket*. We will contact you 1 week before if you need to organise your own ticket. As you'll most likely have to organize the train tickets yourself, these are the connections we are taking:

Saturday, 29.03.: 07:38 Zürich HB -> 09:28 Interlaken, Ost
Sunday, 30.03.: 18:29 Interlaken, Ost -> 20:28 Zürich HB
