Already done all the important sights in Switzerland? Just don't know what to do in this country anymore? Don't worry, we got you covered. Welcome to the Swiss Train Rally! This whole day event will bring you to ~4 cities all over the contry, so you'll probably find some new cool gems along the way.

But where will we be going? That's the catch: You won't know it, but you'll figure it out along the way. Every group has their own itinerary, visiting different cities and solving fun challenges along the way. Each challenge will give you points, and point you towards the next destination of your trip.

The best part: This is a national event, meaning that we will meet teams from ESN sections all over the country. We might even do some challenges against other ESN sections.

At the end of the STR, we will all meet in a final city to celebrate with and get to know all the other teams. ESN organizes this final party, so entry is free and there will be cheap drinks.

A few points for this group specfifically:

• It's legal to drink in the trains, and we will do so. But there is never a pressure to drink!
• We will beat Group 4! They thought they could trash-talk us, let's prove them wrong!

If you have a GA/full fare you can join for free. However, please email us directly after your registration so we can finalize your registration. Otherwise, the system will cancel your reservation after the payment deadline.

Owning a “Halbtax” or “GA Night” does not offer any additional discount.

This group has 0 spots available for participants who are 25 years or older. These spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. As a result, we may need to cancel your registration if the spots for this age group are full.

Note that the meeting time might be a bit flexible, i.e. we won't be meeting all at 7. Similarly, the end time is not yet fixed. Chances are that we will be back in Zürich before 23:55. There will be the option to skip the party and be back in Zürich around 8pm. If you have a GA you can of course also travel back independently.

If you would like to sign up together with your friends, make sure that everyone registers for the same group (see event title). Changing groups can be difficult, so we recommend to coordinate with your friends which group you want to join. Once a group is fully booked, you need to find a person in that specific group to swap with you in order to join the group.

By signing up you automatically accept that your personal information will be shared with the Organizing Committee of the Train Rallye 2024, and kept for 14 days. Please state in the comments if you refuse that.
