Dear exchangies!

The Welcome Week will start with a visit to 3 must-see destinations not too far away from Zurich: Rheinfall (the biggest waterfall in Europe), the "Queen of the Swiss Mountains" aka Rigi and Luzern.

We will start our day first visiting the Rheinfall where we will stay for about 1.5h. Then we will head to the top of the Mount Rigi. On top, we will have a breathtaking panoramic view over many mountains, lakes, and cities such as Lucerne and Zug. Afterwards, we will go on a very easy 1 hour hike downhill to the middle of the mountain (sneakers or any sorts of sports shoes are fine) (taking the cogwheel train instead of hiking is also possible). We will make a break about 1h at Rigi, Kaltbad. After the break, we will get to Weggis by cable car, take a boat trip on the beautiful and mystical Lake Lucerne until we reach the city. There, we will have about 2h to see the city and afterwards head back to Zurich at around 8.30pm.

• Day ticket for travel within Switzerland
• Cogwheel train from Arth Goldau to Rigi, Kulm (40 min)
• Cogwheel train from Rigi, Kulm to Rigi, Kaltbad (20 min)
• Cable car from Rigi, Kaltbad to Weggis (10 min)
• Boat ride on Lake Lucerne (40 min)

Note: Food is not included in the price and the trip will be on Sunday. So if you will use the supermarkets for food shopping, make sure to do it before the trip because we won't be close to the supermarkets until we arrive Luzern about 6pm.

• If you have a GA, the event is free for you. Note that you have GA while registering and then we will confirm it as definite registration.
  
• If you are 25 years old or above (If your birthdate is before September 8th, 1999): We can only arrange day travel ticket for a limited number of people on a first come first serve. We will inform you accordingly if you are eligible in terms of quota. If we reach the quota and if there are more registrations by people who are 25 or above, the following rule applies: In this case, if you don't have a GA or won't be able to buy your "Day travel ticket" yourself, you are not eligible to join, in accordance with SBB group travel discount rules.

• Due to the limited time between the event date and the registration end date, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after September 5th at 23:59.
• ESNcards will be checked on the day of the event. If you register with the ESNcard option, please ensure your card is valid.
• Since this is a Welcome Week event, this trip is organized only for exchange students.
