Urania Star Observatory

The Urania observatory is the oldest public observatory in Switzerland. It was built in 1907 and is managed by the public university of the canton of Zurich since 1936. An expert will describe interesting facts about stars, constellations, and planets using various astronomical instruments.

Moreover, the 51-m-tower has a fascinating architecture, and is located in the city centre, providing you with a beautiful view of the town and lake of Zurich as well as the Alps.

The tour takes also place in case of bad weather. In case of clouds, we will have a look at different landmarks of Zürich.
