About ESN ZürichErasmus Student Network (ESN) is a European-wide student organisation, with 358 sections in 34 countries, created to support and develop student exchange. The aims of ESN are to promote the social and personal integration of the exchange students.ESN Zürich aims, like other local sections of ESN Switzerland, to ensure that all international students in Zürich feel at home, have a great time, meet a lot of new people, get a good glimpse of Swiss student life and Swiss culture in general. To achieve this, we organise welcome parties and all kind of fun events, all year long. We also set up buddy programs, provide information and may even come and fetch you at the airport when you arrive! In a word, we are here to make your stay a better one. So make sure to check our event-list from time to time. If you forget to do so, make sure to be registered on our email list (enter your email-address in the form on the left). We will be happy to keep you updated via email. And if you would like to apply for a personal buddy/mentor, i.e. a Swiss student who can help you to find your way and to introduce you to life in Zürich etc. ask for a mentor. Verein ESN ZürichThe "Verein ESN Zürich" (Verein = "association") was founded on the 7th december 2010. Before that ESN Zürich was a "Kommission" of the VSETH since 2001 (?).
