Winter Weekend fully packed with memories and exploring new places - all inclusive! 

Day One
On the first day we will take the train to Leukerbad (canton of Valais) and take a gondola up to Gemmipass.
There, we will hike for about 3 to 4 hours. The hike is not difficult, but you should be in good condition to hike for 4 hours. We will have dinner and stay overnight in a youth hostel in Kandersteg.

Day Two
The next morning, we will visit the famous Oeschinensee to enjoy the mountains around the lake. If it is frozen and cold enough, we might even walk onto the ice. At lunchtime we are heading over to a different valley to enjoy some sledding for the afternoon. 

 *If you buy an ESNCard before the Weekend,you can pay the ESNcard price and show the filled out card on Saturday - please make a note in the remarks… You are elegible for the ESNcard price if you are an international student with a valid card from ESN Zurich from this or last Semester

What you should bring (detailed packing list follows after registration):

• Hiking or winter boots
• Warm clothes
• Winter clothes (waterproof jacket & pants)
• It's advised to wear a skiing helmet for sledding if you have one (not mandatory) 
• Skiing goggles and/or sunglasses (for sledding and hiking)

Price

• Price is valid for age up to 24.99 years (special offer) 
• without half-fare pay + 35.-- for the gondolas
• If you have a GA you can pay 30 chf less for the weekend and write it in the comments
