The event has beed cancelled due to bad weather.

Lägern is a beautiful ridge super close to Zürich. After a short train ride, we will hike to the main view point Hochwacht which offers an amazing panorama of the city of Zürich and the alpes. Together with the students doing the easy option, we will have lunch. We will provide snacks and cookies, but please bring your own lunch :)

The second half of the hike will be over the ridge of Lägern. Make sure not to be scared of heights! It is IMPORTANT to bring proper hiking shoes (we cannot allow you to come in sneakers) and to have some experience hiking on difficults grounds.

We will arrive to Baden, a super cute city with a castle. In Baden there is a small Christmas market, where you can buy Glühwein (and other drinks and food). We will also take a relaxing bath in the hot springs (bring your swimming gear and towel).

NOTE: we have changed this event and made it free of charge. Those who have already paid will receive a refund. Please still only come if you are OK to hike over difficult terrain and you aren't scared of heights.

The hike is part of the official track 5 "Jura-Höhenweg", you can look it up e.g. in the SchweizMobil app.
