Join us on one of Switzerland's most scenic train rides to Ticino. We will take the route through the old Gotthard Tunnel a bit higher up in the mountains.

After seeing the same church three times and spending some time in the dark we will be in the beautiful canton of Ticino. This canton is famous for its Risotto and its Mediterranean flair. In autumn, it's often the perfect spot to enjoy some sunshine and, you can enjoy a good glass of wine throughout all the seasons. We will visit Bellinzona, the main city of this canton. It has several UNESCO world heritage castles, which we will see on an approx 2h walk. We will also walk through the old town, and you will get some free time to explore more on your own :)

On our way home, we will use the world's longest train tunnel to get back to Zürich. 

Disclaimer: we have introduced a BLACKLIST. Please make sure to deregister 72h in advance if you can't make it to the event (in case of emergencies you can contact Laetitia at linggj@ethz.ch). The price only includes the train rides. 

Tickets for people 25 and above are limited (2 spots :/ ). We will contact you if it becomes an issue and will apply a first-come-first-serve policy.

Please bring comfortable shoes for the walk. We try to adapt it to the weather, but in any case, it might be a good idea to adapt your clothes to it as well...

Bring some snacks or even your lunch. We might be a bit outside of the city for some time :)
