Are you hungry, bored at home and you love italian food?
Then join me in my kitchen on Thurday 26th for prepraring delicious gnocchi with 2 different sauces (Traditional tomato sauce and a yummy gorgonzola dip). If you want to cook together this traditional italian thursday-dish (YES, it is really a dish that is mostly prepared on thurdays. This tradition started after WWII when having three meals a day was a privilege that many italians could not afford. This high-caloric dish was usually prepared on thurday to compensate the scarce calory intake of Friday, day in which also for religious reasons no big or "rich" meals were traditionally allowed), then follow these steps!
1) Get the ingredients (for 4 people):
- potatoes, 1kg
- white flour, 300g
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- tomato sauce, 500ml
- gorgonzola (if you like blue cheeses), 150g
- milk, 1 glass
- butter, 10g
2) boil the potatoes (don't cut them in pieces and leave the skin on!! It is very important) until they are soft c.a. 20 minutes before the live event starts, because we will start from already boiled potatoes!
