Üetliberg walk, Boat ride and Lindt shop

Dear exchange students, We're going to go to Üetliberg (the only "mountain" Zurich has to offer) on Saturday. It's obviously not comparable to the alps, but nevertheless very lovely and is something you must see while you're in Zurich. You'll have the view over the whole city of Zurich, the lake of Zurich and the entire region. Once we've reached the "summit", we will then walk to Adliswil, where we take the only cable cart in the canton of Zurich, followed by a quick visit to the Lindt shop in Kilchberg. We conclude our small trip with a boat ride of about an hour back to Zurich.

So if you have particular planned on Saturday afternoon, join us at the Triemli station (trams 9 and 14, buses 33 and 80) at noon! :D

Max. Participants30 -> Registration is necessary.
Entrance / Fee
without ESN card: CHF 0.00
with ESN card: CHF 0.00

Since most of you only need three more zones (next to zone 110) for cable cart and the boat ride, we decided that everybody is responsible for their own ticket. This means that everybody is self-responsible for a ticket with zones 110, 140, 150 and 155 (therefore you will get some super tasty free chocolate from the Lindt shop sponsored by ESN ;) ). We really recommend you to buy the tickets on the spot, since it will be a bit cheaper that way, so don't forget to bring some cash. For the people in possession of a public transport abo of zone 110, the costs should be even less than 10 Fr. in the worst case; for the others just a tiny bit more.

We will probably take the cable cart sometime around 15:30 and the boat at 17:35 from Kilchberg.

The hike is really easy and will probably take three hours. If you've never hiked before, it is a good route to start. :) Bring some shoes with which you feel comfortable walking in (no need for hiking shoes). The weather should be fine, but to be on the safe side, bring an umbrella and a jacket. The jacket is also very important for the boat ride, since we don't want you to get a cold.

Other than that you can bring something small to eat if you won't have eaten lunch by noon. Also, don't forget to bring enough water! And the most important: Bring your friends and a good mood! It will be super fun!! :D
